BIO:

Hi, I'm Amanda! My passion for health and movement started long before my career. Growing up, I was involved in a variety of sports, including horseback riding, softball, tennis, and competitive cheerleading before becoming a collegiate cheerleader. Through those experiences, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and how proper movement can enhance both performance and overall well-being. That passion led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sport Science and continue pursuing advanced education in corrective exercise, mobility, rehabilitation, and become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500).

Throughout my career as a Kinesiologist and Personal Trainer, I’ve worked with clients ranging from individuals recovering from injuries and chronic pain to those looking to optimize their performance and feel stronger in everyday life. I believe fitness should be empowering, sustainable, and tailored to each individual. My goal is to help people build a healthier relationship with movement while improving both their physical and mental well-being.

My philosophy is that lasting results come from consistency, education, and creating sustainable habits that fit each person’s lifestyle. Success isn’t defined by a number on the scale or how much weight someone lifts. Success is helping clients regain confidence in their bodies, move without pain, build resilience, and develop healthy habits they can maintain for years to come. As a coach, my role is to educate, support, challenge, and encourage clients while giving them the tools they need to become confident and independent in their own health journey.

I’m incredibly excited to join the Recoup team because your mission closely aligns with my own values. I love that Recoup focuses on restoring health for high-achieving professionals through an individualized, science-based approach. I’m looking forward to collaborating with an incredible team, continuing to grow as a coach, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of our members.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue expanding my knowledge in movement science, rehabilitation, and performance while helping bridge the gap between fitness and healthcare. My goal is to become a leader in the industry who helps people not only recover from pain but unlock their full physical potential.

Fun Facts

Outside of coaching, you’ll usually find me hiking, practicing yoga, spending a day at the beach, attending music festivals, or exploring new coffee shops. I also have a black cat named Batcat, who is incredibly loving and always happy to curl up for a cuddle. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, whether that’s through continuing education, trying new movement practices, or finding my next adventure outdoors.
